Target Audience

This training is intended for professionals who will operate products from the VPN series of security solutions. To attend the SIGRID/PGAI/PGCI System Operator course (Crypto App 9411, 9421), prior knowledge in networking, related areas, and security is required, at a level corresponding to the content of Tutus Preparatory Network Training.

 

Course Objectives

The aim of this training is to provide a fundamental understanding of networking technology and troubleshooting, as well as operationally sufficient knowledge of related areas, security, and regulatory compliance. Successfully completing the course provides the necessary knowledge to participate in product-specific training, such as the SIGRID/PGAI/PGCI System Operator course (Crypto App 9411/9421).

  • Overview of the layers in the OSI model
  • Switches, VLANs, link-layer segmentation, ARP
  • IP addressing, IP-layer segmentation, routing, unicast, broadcast, multicast
  • Protocols and ports, firewall, VPN
  • Sessions
  • Related areas and dependencies – DNS, DHCP, NTP
  • PKI/CA – Certificates and key management
  • Security and secure handling of Tutus products (regulatory compliance)
