The centralized administration tool, CAdmin, enables straightforward management of all Färist units, both locally and remotely. It provides effective support when setting up networks with many encryption devices. The tool is easy to use for configuring and administering even the most complex network environments.
The rule-based configuration is a powerful feature that allows CAdmin to configure complex network topologies with minimal effort from the administrator. The administrator defines the connection rules for the network endpoints using wildcards, after which the tool automatically generates the configuration for the entire VPN network.
CAdmin can organize encryption devices into groups with a shared configuration, for example for administrators, trusted CAs, NTP servers, log servers, and similar functions.
CAdmin supports multiple users with different roles—both administrators and operators. Administrators have full access to all functions, while operators have read-only access and the ability to restart network devices.
