Small, portable, convenient
Färist Micro comes in several models and sizes. What they have in common is that they are compact, which makes them easy to integrate into a range of environments. The units are USB-powered, so no external power adapter is needed. That makes them flexible and easy to carry, whether you are at your workplace or on the move. Once configured, they require no further action from the end user and are ready to use in any environment.
Strong encryption
Färist Micro is based on the IPsec standards and supports digital certificates for automatic key negotiation. Encryption uses AES-256. The system provides forward secrecy. Färist Micro connects to a Färist VPN or a Färist IEG. Färist Micro is approved at RESTRICTED level in certain EU countries.
Compatibility
Depending on the model, Färist Micro connects to any laptop or device with an Ethernet port or a USB port, such as IP telephones and video conferencing systems. ESP packets can be encapsulated in UDP to support NAT traversal.
