Färist VPN

Scalable and flexible with market-leading performance

Färist VPN is available in a range of sizes, from small mobile units to high-performance rack-mounted servers. VPN performance ranges from 100 Mbps up to 40 Gbps. Färist VPN is also available in specially ruggedized and durable versions for use in truly demanding environments, meeting strict military specifications. Well suited for environments that require compliance with, for example, the NIS Directive.

Strong encryption

Färist VPN is based on the IPSEC and MACSEC standards and supports digital certificates for automatic key exchange. Encryption is performed using AES with 256-bit keys. Encryption keys are loaded into the system using smart cards or USB. The system provides perfect forward secrecy.

Approved and proven

Färist VPN has been developed in close cooperation with the Swedish Defence Materiel Administration and the Swedish Armed Forces, and is approved for the classification level Restricted as a standalone component, as well as part of a Färist Mobile system in several EU countries. Färist VPN is approved by the EU at the Restricted level. It has been certified in accordance with Common Criteria EAL 5+.

Centralized administration

The VPN solution is managed through a centralized management system, enabling easy control of multiple Färist VPN units, both locally and remotely.
