Tutus is pleased to announce the initiation of a development project with HMD Secure Oy, focusing on their rugged and security-ready smartphone HMD Ivalo XE, which is designed, developed, and manufactured in Europe.
Built for mission-critical communications in extreme environments, our Färist Mobile T210 concept is engineered to deliver both physical durability and digital protection, which are key priorities for Tutus and the sectors we serve, including defence and government.
Backed by Tutus decades of experience in building certified secure communications solutions, with approvals for NATO/EU/National Restricted, the collaboration aims to explore how the T210 platform can evolve into a complete secure mobile solution.
“We look forward to working together with HMD Secure Oy to evaluate how Tutus secure operating system and our application platform capabilities can be integrated into this promising device and become the pinnacle of secure mobility made in Europe”, says Jens Bohlin CEO of Tutus.
Engineered for Critical Communications — in all conditions
The Färist Mobile T210 smartphone will be powered by the new Qualcomm Dragonwing™ Q-6690 mobile processor and is designed to perform under demanding operational conditions, meeting MIL-STD-810H standards and certifications such as IP68, but also offers Anti Tamper protection. With Tutus secure Färist OS platform, based on Android, but hardened by Tutus from kernel thru all levels, combined with our dedicated Visir platform for mission critical applications, the T210 can offer a complete package whether it’s field operations in harsh weather or secure work in sensitive digital environments.
Tutus targets to launch the Färist Mobile T210 during 2026, as this development progresses, Tutus will continue evaluating its suitability for integration with our secure mobile platform. Further updates will be shared in due course.
